Business and community are priorities for Macarthur’s liberal hopeful | Campbelltown-Macarthur Advertiser

Minto resident Binod Paudel will run in the upcoming federal election as a Liberal candidate in Macarthur.

The hotelier, who has become an entrepreneur coach, has lived in the region for six years with his wife Gypshouna and his young son Gilon.

He says he is keen to support local businesses as they recover from the impacts of COVID.

“Macarthur is a growing area with an exciting future, and we need a local MP who can be a strong voice in government to provide the infrastructure, facilities and services this community needs,” said declared Mr. Paudel.

“We are poised to be at the center of a post-COVID economic boom, with our local manufacturing and business base capable of delivering incredible local opportunities.”

Mr. Paudel is also a leadership coach and is an active multicultural community leader.

He was made a Fellow of the Political Institute of the Non-Resident Nepalese Association of Australia and works to support and promote community harmony and cultural ties, including working to establish the first local rugby team in his hometown, Chitwan, Nepal.

“I believe sport helps develop discipline, fairness and social cohesion in the community, and helps teach our children valuable lessons about teamwork and cooperation,” Mr. Paudel said.

“Like many members of this community, I was born overseas and deeply understand the experience of building a better life for you and your family.

“If elected, I will be able to represent this very diverse community and its needs in the Morrison government, and I will fight for the services our families need and the economic recovery that will help provide job opportunities. to our children.”
