KATMANDU, December 1: Finance Minister Janardan Sharma urged mobile phone entrepreneurs to produce mobile phones in the country.
He promised that the government would provide the necessary help for the same. “I’ve heard that the Mero mobile phone company is hard at work producing cell phones in the country itself. Not only the company, but you (the mobile phone entrepreneurs) should all focus on question. The government will help you, “he said. inaugurating the second general convention of the Nepal Mobile Distributors Association here today.
He also asked the Nepal Telecommunications Authority to immediately implement the mobile device management system. “I was informed that the system was supposed to be implemented five months ago. What are the problems that prevented the project? I have asked the relevant organization to resolve the issues (if any) and implement it. The government is still working to stop illegal transactions and revenue leakage. ”
He also dismissed the blame of the mobile phone contractors that the government had delayed the implementation of the project.
On this occasion, the mobile entrepreneurs urged the government to end the illegal supply of mobile phones in the country, which has contributed to several criminal activities in the country.
They also called on the government to implement the project quickly.
