Tata Motors, in partnership with Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., is set to excite the electric vehicle market in Nepal with the launch of the Tigor EV. Starting today, deliveries of Tigor EV will begin nationwide. Following in the footsteps of its ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) sibling, the Tigor EV has also been hailed by GNCAP with a 4-star rating for adult occupant protection (12.00 points out of 17.00) and child (37.24 points out of 49.00). Designed to reach new heights in the dynamic world of e-mobility, the Tigor EV features Tata Motors’ proprietary high-voltage EV architecture, Ziptron, and is built on the three strong pillars of technology, comfort and security. The vehicles are now on display in showrooms and have been made available for testing through the dealer network by Sipradi Trading Pvt. ltd.

Offering optimum range, the new Tigor EV has an extended ARAI-certified range of 306 km (under standard test conditions), making it more desirable for personal travel. Armed with stunning design, state-of-the-art safety coupled with thrilling comfort and performance, the Tigor EV offers a maximum power output of 55kW and maximum torque of 170Nm and is powered by a high-performance battery. 26 kWh liquid-cooled energy density and an IP 67 rated battery and motor to make it weather and worry resistant.
Tata Motors offers the new Tigor EV in three variants: XE, XM, XZ+ (XZ+ Dual Tone option available), which come with an 8-year, 160,000KM battery and motor warranty for EV owners. In addition, it also offers superior driving dynamics and a balanced suspension for more precise handling. Other features include electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, smart key with push-button start, portable charging cable, and more.
Tigor EV’s impact resistant battery case complies with AIS – 048 for nail penetration at the cell level. Based on a proven platform with a structure suitable for rear-end collisions, the car is compatible with the globally acceptable CCS2 charging protocol and can be fast or slow charged from any 15A socket. from a quiet cabin, spacious interiors with plenty of head and leg room to comfortable seating, the Tigor EV comes with technology across its powertrain, infotainment and charging, while promising a smooth and comfortable ride.
